Study: Bacteriophages from gastrointestinal and reproductive tracts of beef cattle
show Abstracthide Abstract
Antimicrobial resistance has become a critical issue in animal production. Infectious diseases in cattle have significant economic consequences for the beef industry. The present study was conducted with the objective of isolating bacteriophages from bovine samples such as ruminal fluid, vaginal swabs, and deep nasopharyngeal swabs, that infect commensal and pathogenic bacteria present in these niches.
